Bathrooms are small rooms with an unforgiving margin for error. Most of the failures we get called in to repair trace back to waterproofing that was rushed behind the tile.

We build wet areas to manufacturer-specified assemblies, flood-test pans before tile goes down, and document it. The finish is what you see; the substrate is what you live with.

Ventilation matters more here than almost anywhere else in the country. A Winnipeg bathroom fan that is undersized or vented into an attic will frost, drip, and grow mould by February. We size fans to the room and duct them fully outside, insulated.
